Alix Olson is an assistant professor of Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Emory University's Oxford College. Prior to her academic life, she toured internationally as a spoken word artist for over a decade. Tell us your name, pronouns, and a little about yourself.   Alix: I'm Alix Olson, I use she/her pronouns (for now). I'm now an assistant professor of Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Emory University's Oxford campus. I teach first and second year students.
